Cooke Capital is looking forward to supporting the annual NC Dental Society Foundation Golf Challenge at Pinehurst Resort. The annual event is held for the dental community, legislators and business leaders on August 13-14, 2020.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the NCDS Foundation will be adhering to the strict policies mandated by both local government and the Pinehurst Resort. All events will take place outside. To view the Pinehurst Covid-19 response regarding accommodations and golf visit https://www.pinehurst.com/
According to the NCDS website, the Foundation’s Golf Challenge is “a go” for August 13 and 14 in Pinehurst. "Our largest and most important Fundraiser of the year, we hope you’ll join us as a player or sponsor. Since we missed out on Annual Session, this is a great opportunity to network with the dental community. Pinehurst No. 1 is our course this year, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. In light of the pandemic, we’ve made a few tweaks to keep everyone safe and healthy. Rest assured we’re following CDC guidelines, and encourage face masks during the welcome party and awards banquet."
All proceeds from the tournament will go to the foundation and North Carolina Missions of Mercy, an outreach program of the NC Dental Society that provides free dental treatment at portable clinics.
We were honored to contribute to such an important program through our sponsorship. Not only does the Missions of Mercy enable people in financial need to receive dental treatment, but it also gives dental students invaluable experience as volunteer providers at the clinic.
